About This Service
You bought it from IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, Costco, Home Depot, or Lowe's. The box weighs ninety pounds. The instructions are pictograms. You don't want to spend a Saturday with the wrong screwdriver tightening cam locks in the wrong order. We come out, build it right, haul off the packaging, and leave you with the room set up.
What We Build
Flat-pack furniture: dressers (MALM, HEMNES, KOPPANG, Sauder, Ashley); bookshelves and bookcases (BILLY, KALLAX); desks and office setups (BEKANT, IDÅSEN, full home-office build-outs); platform beds, bunk beds, captain's beds, storage beds; dining sets, sideboards, and buffet hutches; sectional sofas with chase ottomans and reversible chaises; entertainment centers and TV consoles. We work with kits from Wayfair, Amazon Basics, Costco-exclusive lines, and the major Springfield retailers.
TV wall mounts: fixed, tilting, and full-motion (articulating arm). We stud-find, level, install, and run the cable. In-wall power kits (the ones that hide the power cord behind the drywall) are part of the standard scope; we cut the drywall openings, install the boxes, fish the cord, and patch back. HDMI and power both routed cleanly — no cable spaghetti hanging below the screen.
Backyard playsets and swing sets: Rainbow, Cedar Works, Backyard Discovery, Step2, KidKraft, and the off-brand kits from Costco and Home Depot. A typical play structure runs a full day — sometimes a day and a half if there's a fort, climbing wall, and a two-slide setup. We level the build pad first, set anchors, and hand off with everything torqued to spec.
Trampolines: Springfree, Jumpsport, Skywalker, and the rectangular Acon and Vuly setups. Net enclosures included. We don't install trampolines on uneven ground or sloped yards without leveling first — bouncing on a tilted frame stresses the welds and voids the manufacturer warranty.
Where the Job Happens
You're in the room with us — we walk through any preferences (drawer orientation, shelf height, which wall the bed faces) before we open the first box. If you're not home, we work from your instructions over text. Either way, the room you wanted assembled is the room we set up — beds made, drawers pulled and tested, doors leveled, and the floor swept of cardboard and packaging foam.
Timing
Most single-piece jobs run 60 to 120 minutes (dresser, bookshelf, desk, single bed). Sectional sofas and bunk beds run two to four hours. TV mount with in-wall cable run is usually 90 minutes. Full home-office build-outs (desk + filing + bookshelves + chair) run a half-day. Playsets and large trampolines take a full day, sometimes two if the kit is the larger end of the catalog. Same-day or next-day scheduling available for most single-item jobs; playsets need at least a week's lead because they're a half-truck of materials and a full crew.
Who Calls Us For This
New homeowners — moving into Nixa or Ozark and the truck dropped half the new furniture in flat-pack form on the garage floor. New parents — crib, dresser, glider, changing table, all by Saturday because the baby is due Tuesday. Office workers — remote-work setup with a standing desk, dual-monitor mount, and bookcases. Property managers — between-tenant furniture refresh for short-term rentals, especially around Branson where the Airbnb market expects fully furnished units. Realtors staging a vacant listing. Grandparents who bought playsets for the back yard. Out-of-state second-home owners who shipped furniture to the lake house and need it set up before they arrive.
What We Don't Do
Cribs and high chairs — parent safety call, we don't assemble those for children we haven't met because manufacturer-recall and reinstallation by the parent is the right pattern. We don't repair broken or missing parts — call the manufacturer first; if your kit is short two pieces or one panel was damaged in shipping, we can't fix that on-site. We don't cut, modify, or customize flat-pack kits beyond the printed instructions. We don't install ceiling-mounted TV pulleys, custom built-in cabinetry, or wall-anchored gun safes (specialty install with its own safety scope).
Getting Started
Send the brand, model, and SKU (or just a link to the product page) plus your address. We come back with a flat-rate price in under an hour for single items, by next business day for multi-piece projects. Most assemblies happen same-day or next-day from booking.
