About This Service
Sometimes the whole job is getting a couch up a flight of stairs. Sometimes it is a two-bedroom apartment across Springfield, or a washer and dryer picked up from the store and set in the laundry room. We help you move — the loading, the driving, and the heavy lifting — using rental trucks like U-Haul and Penske. Depending on the job, one or two of our movers show up ready to work, with moving blankets, straps, and a dolly.
Three Ways We Help
Moving help, labor only: you rent the U-Haul or Penske, we bring the muscle. We load it tight so nothing shifts on the highway, or we meet you at the new place and unload. This is the cheapest option when the truck is already handled and you just need a strong back or two and someone who knows how to pad a doorway and carry a dresser down stairs without gouging the wall.
We arrange the rental and run the whole move: do not want to deal with the rental counter? We book and pick up the right-size rental truck, load, drive, and unload — you just tell us what is moving and where. Apartments, single rooms, whole small homes, senior downsizing — inside Springfield and across the surrounding Ozarks region.
Hauling and delivery: single heavy items — an appliance, a sectional, a treadmill, a gun safe — picked up from a store or a seller and delivered to your door, or hauled to a storage unit. If it is bulky and you do not have a truck, that is us.
What We Move
Furniture, appliances, mattresses, boxes, exercise equipment, patio sets, grills, and the awkward one-off pieces that do not fit in a car. In-home moves count too — rearranging a living room, carrying a heavy hutch to the basement, clearing a room so the flooring crew can work. We pad, wrap, strap, and take doors off their hinges when a sofa will not clear the frame.
Where We Work
Springfield is home base. We run local moves and hauling across the Ozarks — Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Battlefield, Willard, and Strafford in the metro; Branson, Hollister, and the Table Rock Lake towns; the Lake of the Ozarks communities around Osage Beach and Camdenton; and out to Joplin, Bolivar, Lebanon, and Marshfield on scheduled runs. If both ends of the move are inside Missouri and roughly within our service radius, we can quote it.
Who Calls Us For This
Renters moving between apartments who do not own a truck. Homeowners who bought a couch or a fridge and have no way to get it home. Senior homeowners around Nixa and Ozark downsizing to a smaller place or an assisted-living apartment — we move slow, we stay careful, and we do not rush them. What We Do Not Do
Long-distance and out-of-state moves — we are a local Missouri crew, not a van line. Full-service packing of an entire house (we will move what you have boxed and handle the heavy and awkward, but we do not box up your kitchen). Pianos, hot tubs, and safes over 700 pounds need specialty equipment and a specialty crew — call us first and we will tell you honestly whether it is in our lane. We do not haul hazardous material, and we are not a junk-removal service — if the goal is to get rid of it rather than relocate it, that is a different trade.
